Mission Statement
The mission of Isuba Valley Equestrian Center is the promotion of traditional horsemanship and centered riding. Regardless of discipline, all clients and riders are encouraged to study all aspects of riding, training, equipment, and horse care. In other words, the goal is to develop riders into true horsemen and horses into true athletes.
Training methods are based upon proven classical principles practiced in Europe and the United States. Horses are schooled with patience, consideration, and respect. Riders are enthusiastically instructed until they understand “why” correct training methods are used, not just “how” to perform a movement. Tolerance and safety are always of foremost importance.
Owners/Trainer Cortney Rogers
Cortney was trained locally by Grand Prix rider Gabe
Griffin. Gabe is the only trainer in Northwest Arkansas to
have participated at that level of competition.
Cortney began her Hunter/Jumper training as an adolescent at Kingswood Riding
Stables near affluent Exeter, New Hampshire. Upon returning to
Arkansas, she continued her training with top Hunt Seat Judge Misty
Morgan. Cortney has been involved with horses all her life and is
constantly adding to her abundant knowledge of horsemanship and
riding.
